Retroreflective targets are needed for 3D laser scanners. Due to the special surface properties of the bright center dot, the light is reflected back toward the light source regardless of the angle of incidence. We have developed and tested our targets to ensure that they are compatible with all state of the art laser scanners.
All our retroreflective targets are labeled “high reflective” because they reflect significantly more light than conventional retroreflective dots. Thanks to a completely new material, the targets are perfectly recognized by the scanner even at very flat angles, which significantly speeds up the scanning process and reduces the number of targets required.
In addition to the usual variants with different adhesive strengths, we are the only manufacturer worldwide to offer an glueless variant. Thanks to a special microstructure, the targets adhere to almost every surface that ones with glue stick to. However, they do not leave any annoying glue residue and – similar to magnetic measuring points – are reusable. There is no need for tedious reworking to remove residue, so your component is protected and contamination is reliably prevented.
Our uncoded, retroreflective targets are cut with high precision. This makes them easy to remove from the backing paper and gives them excellent concentricity.
