Description
Retroreflective targets are needed for 3D laser scanners. Due to the special surface properties of the white dot, the light is reflected back in the direction of the light source, regardless of the angle of incidence. We have developed and tested our targets so that they are compatible with all common laser scanners.
Our uncoded, retroreflective targets are cut with high precision, so that they can easily be removed from the backing paper and have excellent concentricity. Compared to many competitor products, our reference dots have an additional film that makes it much easier to remove them from the component after the scanning process is done.
All our retroreflective scanning dots are labeled as high reflective, as they reflect significantly more light than standard retroreflective targets. Thanks to a completely new material, our targets are perfectly recognized by 3D scanners even at very flat angles, and thereby accelerates the scanning process considerably and fewer targets are needed.
The layout on roll is optimized for maximum cost efficiency: they are only available with inner diameters of 3 mm and 6 mm and with one adhesive strength (standard). They are produced in a highly automated process and supplied without a box.
The layout on sheets is produced using a particularly precise printing and cutting process and is available in a wide range of different sizes and adhesive strengths, even in a version without any glue for sensitive surfaces.
The 6 mm targets can also be ordered as an endless stripe on roll. The approx. 500 targets are stochastically distributed on a 30 mm long, adhesive plastic tape. With the stripe a large number of targets can easily be applied and removed again. The endless stripe is therefore particularly suitable for large components.
