Retroreflective targets are needed for 3D laser scanners. Due to the special surface properties of the white point, the light is reflected back in the direction of the light source, regardless of the angle of incidence of the light. We have developed and tested our targets so that they are compatible with all common laser scanners.
Our uncoded, retroreflective targets are cut with high precision. This means that the measuring points can be easily removed from the backing paper and have excellent concentricity. Compared to many competitor products, our measuring points have an additional film that makes it much easier to remove them from the component after the scanning process.
All our retroreflective scanning dots are labeled high reflective, as they reflect significantly more light than standard retroreflective measuring dots. Thanks to a completely new material, our targets are perfectly recognized by the scanner even at very flat angles, so that the measuring process is considerably accelerated and fewer reference points are required.
The version on roll is optimized for maximum cost efficiency: they are only available with inner diameters of 3 mm and 6 mm and with one adhesive strength (standard). They are produced in a highly automated process and supplied without a box.
The version on sheets is produced using a particularly precise printing and cutting process and is available in a wide range of different sizes and adhesive strengths.
