Description
Target bases are multi-surface devices that can be fitted with reference targets. Before the measurement process, the bases are attached close to the measurement object. The number of refernce targets on the measurement object can be reduced drastically. After the measuring process has been completed the targets can remain on the bases, thus reducing the amount of post-processing required. The bases are then immediately ready for the next measurement.
Depending on the desired mounting method, magnetic bases or bases with a threaded rod can be ordered. The size of the targets you use determines the size of the needed base:
- Size S for measuring points up to 1.5 mm diameter
- Size M for measuring points up to 3 mm diameter
- Size L for measuring points up to 8 mm diameter
- Size XL for measuring points up to 12 mm diameter
Ideally the bases are attached to a dk fixing system. If you need a fixing system in addition to the bases, simply contact us using our contact form and we will support you with advice.
Please note that the bases are supplied without reference targest. They must be ordered separately.
